Since 1984, Helena has trained with some of the leading professionals in the industry by attending courses through Toni & Guy, Judith Sans, Jane Iredale, Helga VanDyle, Aveda, Kevin Murphy, BES Hair Color and Logics. She has also trained with Master Hair Color Specialist Joe Farina, who owns Satori salons in Houston. Helena ensures that her clients are being offered the latest trends by attending courses and hair shows in New York and Los Angeles and continues to share her craft with others as a guest instructor a DeWolff’s Beauty College in Albuquerque. Her attention to detail, artistic precision and ability to listen to clients to give them the look they desire makes Helena one of the most highly sought after hair stylists in Albuquerque.
Helena’s work has been featured in televised news programs in Albuquerque as well as on numerous photo shoots, bridal shoots, theatre productions and fashion shows in Albuquerque and Houston. She also uses her talent to provide volunteer services to the elderly and cancer patients. Cancer patients hold a special place in Helena’s heart as she is a breast cancer survivor.
