A Quick Glance at 2010

As 2010 wraps up, we want to reflect on all of the wonderful happenings for Salon Helena and our clients this year. We know that we couldn’t do it all without our team and our great clients, so we want to express our gratitude for another successful year at the salon.

We hope that every one of our loyal clients was able to attend our Annual Customer Appreciation Party where we celebrated with mimosas, discounted products and half-off haircut gift certificates! It was a great time, and we plan to do it again next year.

During the holiday season the team at Salon Helena and our clients were able to make a large donation to the Roadrunner Food Bank to help hungry families in New Mexico this year. We are so proud to be able to give back to our community in this way, so thank you to the stylists who donated their time and the clients who donated food for the cause.

We are very grateful to have been included among the top 100 salons in the nation again this year by Elle Magazine. And, our salon placed in the top-5 for best salon and colorist in Albuquerque the Magazine’s Best of the City. The team at Salon Helena is proud that Helena has won colorist of the year for 2010 after winning stylist of the year in 2009. Thank you to all who voted for us!

In the Spring, our entire staff came in on a Sunday to donate their time for a cut-a-thon. The proceeds from that day went to help the victims in Haiti. And, let’s not forget that we collected hair clippings to help with the cleanup of the oil spill. The team at Salon Helena does believe in giving back to communities, so we are happy that we were able to contribute to local, national and global communities this year!

We were also able to expand our services this year to give our clients even more of what they want to look and feel beautiful.  We added customized Infinity Sun Sunless Tanning and eyelash extensions to our array of services this year. We will continue to add to our services and provide you with everything you need to look and feel your absolute best! So, keep an eye out as 2011 rolls around because we plan to expand our services even further, giving you relaxation and rejuvenation in more ways.
