Based on your concerns, they should be able to allay your fears or modify their suggestion to make you feel better about the look they are suggesting. You should never feel forced into doing something that you are uncomfortable with. Is the stylist knowledgeable?

A good hairstylist will be able to talk to you about the best ways to care for your hair and the best products to maintain your style. Your stylist should be up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques in the beauty industry.

Does the stylist have a good personality?

You should feel comfortable around your stylist. Since you may end up spending a lot of time with your stylist, make sure you choose someone whose personality meshes well with yours.

Has the Salon Won Any Awards?

Awards can tell you kind of caliber of the salon that your stylist works at. If you find a salon that has been recognized for their work, it’s a good sign that their stylists are top-notch.
